Live music at Care Homes in Cheshire and Merseyside
For several years now John has been regularly performing music in care homes and hospices around Cheshire and Merseyside alongside his other gigs.
Covering great songs from the twentieth century by artists like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Vera Lynn, The Beatles, Bob Dylan and many more, as well as traditional favourites like Danny Boy and Molly Malone.
What people have to say about John:
John first came to perform at Oaklands, Chester two years ago when I was in charge of activities there, and has been a regular fixture for musical entertainment ever since. All the residents love him! He covers all the great songs the residents enjoy, from Danny Boy to Frank Sinatra, and is remarkably good at thinking on his feet, responding to the mood and tastes of the audience. When I moved to my new job at Grosvenor Manor Care Centre (Chester) the first live music booking I made was John, and, as usual, his chocolatey vocals and piano dexterity wowed us all. I can't recommend him highly enough.

My mum turned 90 in November and I asked John to come in and play some music for us (having heard him play in the care home the previous month). My mum is Irish and John played all her favourite songs - 'The Fields of Athenry' etc - as well as old pop classics. He made the day for us all.

John came into my dad's care home in December to play some Christmas tunes for the residents there. He was absolutely excellent - charming, professional and incredibly talented. He's the best live music performer I've seen at my dad's home. Looking forward to seeing him again!
